Wondering how to prepare for your Boudoir session, what to expect, or how quickly you can receive your photos? This FAQ answers all your questions about privacy, comfort, and even expedited options for when you need your products fast. Explore how to make your experience truly unforgettable.
The answers to these questions are in relation to my own sessions,
and otherwise vary from photographer to photographer.
If you have a question not found here, I’d love to answer it personally and add it to this page.
Please fill out my contact form and put the question in the text area.
How long till I get to see my images?
For my sessions you get to see your images the same day at your reveal! When you purchase digitals,
you’ll receive a “Teaser” set in the evening after your session.
Full digital galleries are finished within 3 weeks of final purchase.
Print products are ready for pick up or delivery 8 weeks from the date of purchase.
Occasionally, clients choose to shoot longer or go to secondary locations and have a separate reveal session scheduled within two weeks of their session.
Can I get my photos or products quickly if I need them for a special occasion?
Absolutely! While my standard turnaround time is 8 weeks for physical products,
I offer expedited options for clients who need their photos or prints sooner.
Whether it’s for a gift, anniversary, or a special moment, I can ensure your product is ready within two weeks.
How long does the session take?
5-7 hours with a lunch break.
1-2 hours for makeup and hair, 1-2 hours of shooting, 1 hour break for lunch, 1 hour reveal
Secondary locations and additional sets will add more time, and may require a separate reveal date.
Will my pictures be on the internet?
No! When you purchase a Boudoir session, the images are private.
Sharing is completely optional.
When I send your teaser set of images the night of your session, you will have an option to allow me to use your images for my portfolio. If later on you decide you would like your images removed from any platform, I am happy to do so.
What is all this about “Fantasy”?
There is so much more to our personalities than sexiness or sensuality. I love to give my clients the opportunity for creative portraits as well as sexy ones during their Boudoir session.
Often my clients leave with images that can also be shared with
family or on social media in addition to the spicy ones. It’s fun to get warmed up
and feeling gorgeous with Boudoir, then move on to whatever your heart desires!
“Fantasy” is different to everyone; my clients have brought swords, cosplay, body paint, wedding dresses, vampire teeth, shibari rope, horns & hooves, or just a ideas of something they want to create. Creativity is sexy :)

Do you give discounts or run sales?
I do challenges, giveaways, and Boudie calls exclusively in my ladies only Facebook group and bi-monthly email Newsletter.
The group is centered around community, celebrating feminimity, and personal growth.
I do a yearly giveaway for a FREE Boudoir session with a full digital gallery, the winner is randomly pulled from the monthly top contributors, or, MVG’s (Most Valuable Goddess)

Would love to see you there!
What is a Boudie call?
Boudie calls are akin to a sale, and are the largest discounts I offer. They are announced seasonally or when I want to play with a new concept, usually have limited availability, and are exclusive to my ladies only Facebook group and mailing list.
The discount is in trade for a model release to use the images for my portfolio, advertising, and social media.
How can I feel more comfortable during my shoot?
It’s completely normal to feel nervous for your session.
Know that you are in good hands, and that everyone walks out of the studio feeling amazing.
It’s my job to make sure the photos are amazing, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
I have photographed hundreds of women and couples, and I specialize in helping you feel relaxed in front of the camera.
You are empowered to change your mind about levels of spice or undress at any time. There is no pressure to undress past your comfort.
Our all female team is here to hype you up and lead you through the whole experience. During your shoot, we will breathe deep and your hands will always have a job or movement for your hands to do, so you can relax into it.
What gets photoshopped?
My editing style is lighter than many Boudoir photographers, because I want you to see yourself in your images. I do edit anything that won’t be on the skin in 2 weeks. Bumps, bruises, and acne are not commemorated in your images. I use light skin smoothing that is a cornerstone of the style of Boudoir, but otherwise I don’t erase stretch marks or cellulite. These things are part of having a human body, and can be found on most everyone from size 2-5X. Most often my clients see the whole of their beauty in their images, and don’t stress the little things. You will see your images without any photoshop during your reveal!
If you desire additional editing after receiving your finished images, I am happy to do so at no additional cost.
Here is an interactive slider that shows my editing style.
Can I bring a friend to my shoot?
Yes. Just please let me know at least 3 days before your session. Guests are required to be respectful, non-distracting, to sign a liability waiver. Guests can be asked to leave the session at anytime for negative, inappropriate, or distracting behavior.
I can’t make my shoot date, can I reschedule?
Yes. You can reschedule your date once, for free, if outside of 14 days before your session. A $300 fee is required if inside of 2 weeks, or for multiple reschedules. The session fee is non-refundable.
What do I do if I have my period on my session date?
Don’t stress! This happens from time to time, and there are plenty of clients who had amazing sessions
while on their period. Opt for a tampon or menstrual cup instead of a pad, and bring a nude and black thong if you have them.
How does the client closet work? Do I need to wear my own panties underneath? Is it sanitary?
All pieces from the client closet get machine washed with a sanitizing additive, and there are sanitary stickers in studio if you prefer to use those. You are also welcome to bring a black, nude, and white thong if you prefer to have a cloth barrier when using the client closet.
Do you have any lingerie or outfits for the men in couples sessions?
Can men get naked during the session?
For male identifying clients taking part in a couples session, you are encouraged to bring a few different styles/colors of underwear along with jeans and a dressy or casual outfit. The client closet only contains women’s lingerie, and there is no full frontal nudity allowed in studio for male clients (with the exception of changing).
How far in advance should I book a Boudoir Session?
You may book up to four months out. Dates outside of this are on a waiting list.
If you opt in for emails, you will be notified when dates become available.
If you need a date quickly, reach out as soon as possible so I can help.
Do you do payment plans?
On products and collections yes. I have in-house interest-free payment plans
available beginning at $300 a month.
What should I bring to my session?
I have detailed lists and guides for that!
Here is the link to my boudoir styling guide in the next post.
You are always welcome to just show up to the studio as well.
My client closet is massive, I got you :)
Can I bring props and outfits?
Absolutely! With the exception of weapons and creatures, you are welcome to bring
anything you’d like to be photographed with.
How spicy can we make this?
We can get some really hot and heavy images in the studio without any sex acts (which are prohibited in the studio).
I have lot’s of ideas if you want to include your favorite kink or toys into your session.
Why is frontal nudity not allowed for male clients?
This rule allows me to offer a Couples Boudoir service within the boundaries of my own committed relationship and in honor of my own past sexual trauma.
